Im sure you will find it usefully.. Unfortunately you can not charge the Li-ion battery from the bikes DC power. It would take an inverter to do so.

We have received numerous reports on the many uses of this light.

Good idea... an LED lantern!!

I'll be using mine for a 700 mile off-road adventure this coming October!!
... can't wait to see how well it works as a secondary light, or work light when holding a flashlight isn't an option!

That ride sounds like a blast as well as a great cause.. I wish I could attend, donation heading your way..
I'm sure you will find the light useful, In the photos above it is strapped to a tree branch with the Oring that holds it on the bike, another use we have found is to use the helmet mount as a light stand on a table, rock etc..

My 1978 Honda XL250s has a 6v system. Needless to say, the headlight does not provide much light. The Cyclops is my solution for more light in a compact removable system. I used a small piece of pvc jb-welded to a GoPro mount so I could take it on and of easily.

Thanks for the post.. Looks like a great use for the ADV light.. Mounting to a blinker post is also a great place..

Unfortunately, the blinker posts on the XL250s are not suited for this application.

Yes.12VDC
It will require the female cord from our helmet mounted lights(14.95)

or you can cut the provided extension cord.
Its also posible to make your own by using a dc connector

Light arrived fast and looks great. Gotta say, got back from lunch today and had a message on my phone--

I can truly say that I've never gotten a followup call from an internet purchase....well, except for CJ, but that's a whole different kettle o fish...

PS-Hey Darrel, it warns about stationary use and overheating.....how bout using it in the cold and wind for a snowblowing light? Think it'll get enough cooling at 20-30 deg and windy, but without much forward motion? I'm tired of about getting run over...
