Way cool ride Nate. He will remember that all his life.
Enjoyed seeing you again.
Only thing missing was a picture of you on the '80'.

Thanks to Oleary for taking the lead, putting these rides on a calendar and the gpx routes. I missed seeing a few familiar folks but it was great to meet some new folks. Roger and Justin were very generous and kind and it was my privilege to make their acquaintance. Thanks Magoo, for sharing your camping spot, waking up to a view of the lake was nice. As Mouth said, in the BS thread, it was joy to just be there, relax and listen to banter. Really a terrific weekend.

Thanks for all the kind words. It was our pleasure to serve you guys and to keep everyone running on a "full tank". Justin and I really enjoyed the camp and ride and the opportunity to meet all you fine fellows. Nat was a real trooper to keep going after his dunking in the creek especially with the weather turning so cool.

Thanks to Bill for stirring the Rancho eggs Saturday morning and to everyone who helped tear down the camp on Sunday morning

The ride Saturday with Marty, Tom, Brett and Zack was a very pleasant and beautiful ride on 23 and 103. Justified really liked the race down the mountain with Brett and Marty on 103. As usual I just poked along

Looking forward to next year and I'll have some new recipes to try out.

After a hard day's ride, Friday and a great supper (thx Roger and Justin), Friday night, my boy and I crashed in our van. The next morning we were treated to another great meal (thx Roger and Justin) and I was planning to ride over to the I540 Tunnel, with our first stop at White Rock. We took the Eastern Route up to White Rock and just putted along, enjoying the morning.

When it was time to leave White Rock, I asked my boy if he wanted to keep riding or go back to camp. He wanted to go back to camp, so our "day ride" turned into a morning ride but that was fine with me. As we were getting geared up, a guy walks up and starts asking me questions about my BMW. The guy was recently inspired by the wild tales of adventure, told to him by one of his patients, who had just bought a BMW. It took me a minute to figure out that he was talking about the legendary 10Cup. If this guy buys a bike, Bentonville BMW will owe 10cup a commission.

After we left White Rock, we came down the west route to camp. Roger, Justin, Tom and Marty were gearing up for a ride to Oark and Matt had just arrived in camp. It wasn't long before everyone left and my boy and I went exploring, around Shores Lake.

After a while, we heard the thunderous roar of the ADV crew and made our way back to camp. I had already loaded up my bikes and packed up everything that I could, in prep for an early departure, Sunday morning. That evening, we had another great meal(thx Magoo, Oleary and Mouth) and then sat around the fire listening to some great music and the stories of men that are only told around a campfire.

The laughter was generous and the event was a great success. I appreciate everyone's gentle and courteous treatment of my boy, Neth. He had a blast. Some day he'll be sitting around a campfire telling stories about his motorcycle adventures, the men that inspired him and the cold root BEER that he drank.

Great times!

I really had fun this weekend. Many thanks are in order starting with O'leary for organizing the camp out and the burgers and brats. Roger and Justin for setting up the camp kitchen and throwing on a serious feed. I'm still working on that list Justin. Thanks also to Magoo for the ribs and to Matt for the chili. Are you seeing a theme here? Thanks Brett, Zack and Nate for breaking out the stringed instruments with me. That was fun! Next time I plan to have a tablet of some sort with song lyrics and chords stored on it 'cause my memory ain't what it used to be. Also thanks Craig for letting ne ride the F800. Such a sweet bike and you ride it well. Following are some pictures form my Pentax and my Contour.

BTW, someone left behind a blue chair with a canopy at the camp site. I've got it.
