Awesome it worked, to easy,

Just tap reply,

Tap insert,

Choose photo from iPhone library or take photo from iPhone camera,

Photo is uploaded to tapatalk automatically then inserted into post,

I have no idea where abouts in tapatalk it is, but it's now on ADV,
and I now don't have to mess with picassa and copy and pasting between two websites.

So, why can't I just write a tag to point to my server or Dropbox public URL? Like the img src="http://db.tt/b7lYYEr" tag. (it doesnt work, i've tried)

Ive tried the HTML, CODE, and PHP tags from the menu on that link, and even an EMBED tag around it but still cant get an image to show. Seems you shouldnt have to buy TapAtalk if you know a little HTML, but then I've always been the one to get downstream by going over the mountain.....

Try this. Make sure your in editor mode top right button of the reply box.

So does 'Tapatalk' host the images? I choose not to spend the monthly amount on a photo hosting service, but would be ok spending the $2.99 to purchase the tapatalk app.

Well, the easiest way after uploading the image to my server (at least with my 2G iphone) seems to be this way:

1. Open the image in a new tab
2. Tap and hold the image, let go and you get the option to "copy".
3. Go back to the ADV tab, open a new reply and hit the insert image button. You'll get the pop-up prompting for a image URL. (where you cant paste)
4. Enter a single letter and hit "done".
5. Back in the reply window, you now have the IMG tags with a letter in between. Tap on the letter to select and paste. This should get you the image URL wrapped in the IMG tags.

Works, but my images are HUGE..... and to redefine size is a pain on a 2 inch keyboard. BTW, there is no editor mode button when I go to post on the phone, just a little yellow star.

Try Dropbox. Free app w/free storage up to a gig, I think. If you use it, be sure to put the images in the "Public folder" or you'll spend hours trying to figure out what is wrong..... Don't ask...

Cool, I never really used my dropbox so far and didn't know you could hotlink images from there. The iPhone app is pretty cool, it lets you take photos from the app and immediately put them in your public folder.

Yup - it does host the image and works better than my picasa dropbox or photobucket
