Thanks Jackazz, Tahuya water vicTIM here
Want to thank Jackazz Tim and his buddy Boon for towing my dead 200 to a road. Hmmmmm then again I was following Jackazz through the puddle that fried my brand new vertex piston. Yep, all 3 bike died in the puddle crossing but mine ended up being terminal. No compression and the nasty grinding sound of a messed up piston when ya kick it over.

We need to invent a new word for Tahuya "puddles". One that drowns three bikes simultaneously is probably closer to a lake than a puddle. How about Lakelet, or something?
So, do ya think the 200 is rejecting it's organ transplant because the box it came out of wasn't Orange? I don't know if Austrians are a picky as Germans. |

That just sucks.
I've been very happy with the (ktm) piston/top end I put in my 200 last Sept. I also had the head machined, for better low end.

Sorry to hear Tom. No kind words from me about Tahuya, especially after a freak run-in with a puddle and basketball rock that for intents and purposes triggered an event that tore my arm off.... fuggin glacial soils that drain well... my ass they do.

We could go around most puddles or ride their edges but this one puddles edges were filled up and and as you got into it you tuned a corner and it was another 70 feet long. As you turned the corner you also dropped in up to your giblets. Needless to say Tom's bike sucked some water and hydrolocked. We will find out how bad the damage is when he opens her up today. Sucks for Tom as he has a fresh top and bottom end on the bike. This was his 3rd or 4th ride on it and he said it was really feeling tight and strong before the puddle. The "puddle" is on the Tahuyla River trail after the horse camp heading away from camp Spillman and Kamenga. |

Well I guess trying to get it running out there was not going to happen. Here is what I found. I brought some of the tahuya puddle home. Piston had stuck rings but I think I was able to save it. Dumped the water out of the crank case and flushed it with premix.
