Interesting and fun but horrible execution and ending. Who with an opportunity like that would waste their talent on Wallstreet day-trading? (7.3)

If not mentioned earlier Raging Bull is another old favorite (8.4)

Just watched "Buck" ...... EXCELLENT.

Cindy Meehl's shambling yet uncannily beautiful documentary tells the story of Buck Brannaman, a rangy, bow-legged cowboy who travels the country 40 weeks out of every year hosting four-day horse clinics. Brannaman was an adviser on the film of The Horse Whisperer and the moniker is often attached to him, but I'd call him the Horse "Empath." It's as if he sees and hears himself through the animals' eyes and ears, feeling their childlike skittishness and fear.

If you liked "no country for old men" you will like "Red Hill". Best movie I have seen on Netflix in a long time. The villain is a badass.

Ayrton Senna (2010) - a fascinating look into one of Formula One's greatest drivers. 5*

...one thing that got me when his girlfriend, Adriane Galisteu, kisses him on the cheek over and over counting the years they will celebrate Christmas together. See if you can pick up what year she stops at!

Everything is Illuminated

Don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread or not- but apparently today is the last day that it'll be available for instant viewing.

I thought it turned out to be a pretty awesome- worth the watch!

Had the stomach flu yesterday so I watched Red Hill. Found it to be reasonably entertaining.

The villian a badass? Nah not really. The cops were just morons.

I just started Netflix and just found this thread...both are great.

I thought Trainspotting was really good with Ewan McGregor early in his career a killer soundtrack. Kinda like Goodfellas...

I think its been mentioned before but

Better off Ted and

Party Down

are two very funny series on streaming that are very much in the spirit of 30 Rock or Parks and Recreation (also on there and obviously great). I honestly think Party Down is some of
the funniest tv I've ever seen.
