TV Series--- The Killing Originally broadcast on AMC an American redo of a Danish TV series. The Killing follows one detective team as they try to figure out who killed a Rosie Larson a High School Girl. It also follows a political campaign who's car she was found in and her family's dealing with grief.

Not through all 13 episodes. (at 10 now) Very well done scripted drama, with quality actors through out.

Five Stars.

Edit: Just finished the series--- can't recommend this enough. It was like a good novel-- "just one more chapter..." Excellent photography, acting, good plotting--- Could be titled "Desperate People"

The Legend of Pancho Barnes - This documentary about one of America's most prolific female aviators is fascinating. She had a profound impact on air racing, Hollywood stunt pilots, and the test pilots of Edwards Air Force Base during the golden age of aviation. Interviews with Bob Hoover and Chuck Yeager recall some interesting stories from back in the day.

5 Stars.

Where they use the "scaffolds" to grow your own cells over to create organs?

Slight hijack but this video is amazing:

Plus it gives you an idea of what a TED talk is like.

Chicago Code was good; don't know how many Stars.
Streaming video Stars are a little skewed, a lot of off-brand.

I had the good fortune to get invited to attend a TEDx Conference. Yesterday. A great experience.

But back to the topic at hand:

War of the Arrows. Very good. Korean 17th centuryish (?) war epic. It had the potential to get corny in that dancing-through-thin-air martial arts movie way but instead had a somewhat realistic Last Of The Mohicans feel to it.

The Way

Martin Sheen plays the father of Emilio Estevez (hmmm)

Beautiful movie, perfect soundtrack.
