I thought I had a tough butt, but it was no match for my new KTM690R. A sheepskin helped, but not enough, so I ordered a carbon/gripper/orange thread model over the weekend. I am so excited! Soon as I get it installed I'll post pics.

I got my seat and it is a great product. I had to pay an upholstery guy to fit it, after my HD hand stapler couldn't drive the staples. I'm glad because I am not sure I could have pulled the cover so nice and perfect. He must've used heat somehow.

The seat is slightly lower than stock but with a much firmer pad plus wider where I sit. Still narrow where you stand and grip with your knees. Very nice product and my bike was only down a couple days.

I pulled the old pad and cover off and glued the new pad in, then handed it to the right fellow to pull and tack the cover. The OEM seat they somehow made too soft. I sunk down in it and it really chafed my tender parts after a few hours like nothing I've ever had. I mean my Yam WR250R is much better...

I'll take pics over the weekend and post them. Prolly get a few hours seat time too, but getting pretty cold.
