Nice B50/TR5 MX.
The DBD34 Goldstar however was never sold as a Triumph. No "nit picking" there from anyone...completely different bikes!
The former design goes back to the late 30's while the latter unit construction design is a generation later (mid 60's) and was completely new.

Yeah, stock swingarm. The rear shock runs up the backbone to the steering head.

I picked up a YZ490 today...$300 bucks and it runs. Didn't look at it close enough yet, but I think it's an '87 or so. Disc brake front end.

1989 Kx 250 or Cr250, were awesome motorcycles! A little flywheel weight erally helps the control factor.

I think that is Rik Smits, the NBA star. He is over 7 feet tall and races VMX successfully. There's more information on him somewhere here.

The XRR dwarfs it:

Even has a shiny FMF pipe on it:

Almost a shame that the engine is getting stuffed in this :

You know...it's to bad...you should really fix that bike up and race it. It looks good. The over all length looks shorter than 'normal' at least for me. For the $$$ it's a steal...

I may just have to start collecting Big Bore dirt bikes.

Perhaps if you are 6'6" and 270 lbs!
