There wasnt any harleys in the video

These dudes are from france as well, I think, not so cal. seems they just love the bikes and wrenching on them and riding together. not a fad or bc everyone else is doing it. to each his own! the bike that is painted like a harley tracker is actually a sr/xt 500.

Does it matter if they're from france or cal or kansas?
I don't think so. And I'm not sure if you can tell if it's a fad or not just by that 4.5 minutes. Seems to me when I see that many bearded guys in a room wearing flannel........

anyhow. great watch. but I'm with Drilldogger.

Great song too. Looks like it was filmed in Spain.

Not to hijack but..

Another good video with vintage bikes. I don't know the band, but I know (nearly) every rider. We should start a "name all the bikes" visible in each video game.

So I feel I need to say something to the haters here now. First of all, they aren't american so excuse their "trendy appearances." Second, there were no harley's in that video. That tracker only had the harley tank and scheme.
Third, were you never in your mid 20s and just wanted to ride around with friends and have a great time?
You guys don't realize it but ADV is one big-ass motorcycle club of old dudes with families. You're no different from these guys, you all just don't live close enough to each other and have families to tend to....so don't pass judgement on a bunch of guys that just want to hang out, enjoy each others company and ride.

Get off your judgmental horses and enjoy old bikes and each other!

That is all.

Amen.

but 1 question: jeans and flannel is trendy?
WHOOHOO I'm back in style!!!

I got buddies that pull off pinstripes well, but I tend to favor the Neil Diamond "forever in blue jeans" rule.

RIGHT!? I like how it's a trendy thing now. I just see it as a timeless man outfit hahaha.
Anyways, I meant all that in the best spirits possible :)
You guys seem to tolerate me, and I'm that 24 yr old kid on a vintage bike riding with friends and loving every minute.

French people ;)
It's even common for dude-friends to hold hands when they walk in some parts. Gotta love how touchy Americans are about basically anything seen as not gender specific or "gay."

Hey, settle down.

I don't recall anyone putting anything negative in this thread.

Let me say this one thing: Don't ever feel that you're less because you're young! Frankly, I love the energy of young people. And a mature viewpoint doesn't necessarily come with age. I also know many 'young' older people, so age is more a state of mind than 'time in the body'. Enjoy your youth while you've got it, and use it wisely and to the fullest!

As for the gear - I'm sure we all went lacking in our early years. Back when I was new to bikes, leather was all we had and I sure couldn't afford it. A leather jacket and that was it. For a lot of years, jeans were it! Good thing I never crashed!!!

I certainly believe that motorcycles are what keep you young! So, carry on!

I still need a beard and a Harley. I wasn't kidding. (Even if there wasn't on in the video.)

I wish there were younger guys around here that were into old bikes.

The vast majority of people my age are riding "crotch rockets" that their mommy and daddy bought them, and have no interest in working on them.

Every time I talk to someone roughly my age (24) on an old bike, they talk about how it's a POS and they want a new one.

Oh well, I have advrider.
