Enjoy the 48. There is a guy at my 2nd job that rides one in every once in awhile and it is a very sharp bike. I love the blacked out treatment and I'm a sucker for an engine parts in black wrinkle paint.

I have an FJR1300 with 145hp and 100(near enough) ft/lbs of torque.

It is not necessary to "violate every speed law on the books" to flog the piss out of a motorcycle, especially one with lots of grunt.

The Bandit may be capable of higher speeds (as is the FJR), but that doesn't mean you have to go fast. Most people spend far, far too much time in higher gears than necessary.

I find that low rpm grunt from large twins to be great usable power.

Yeah, notice my full face shoei and my Hipora lined gloves, I had goretex (not the real goretex, but the cheaper stuff) on....

Saw a guy with assless chaps today at the local mc'd, came on an electraglide or softail... whatever it was anyways.... I guess pirates do exist in finland too.
