Honda Sh150i for vending route

Howdy,

My new Honda Sh150i is great for servicing my bulk vending route here in the Shreveport/Bossier City La. area. I use saddlebags and a gym bag bungeed to the rear pillion to carry my stuff.
The little Honda features a care-free auto transmission and yields around 84 mpg, with a top speed of about 60 mph for this 270 lb. rider. Saving money while making money was never so fun!

New top speed: 62 mph!

Howdy,

I managed just over 60 mph today. It appeared I hit 62 mph; a new top speed on my Sh150i for this 270 lb. rider.
I'm learning how to haul stuff like my box of 850 count gumballs, two litre Diet Sodas, 15 lb. bag of dogfood. The Sh150 is becoming my new, 2-wheeled truck.

62 MPH isn't bad for your weight, especially considering the Sh150i supposedly has an almost dead on accurate speedometer, I believe its within 1 MPH of GPS. Thats the thing I love most about the SH, is its accurate speedo unlike almost any other scooter in America being made right now.

My 86 Elite 150 will hit an actual 63 MPH 2 up, with me weighing around 200 pounds and passenger about 100 with a full race tuck. I guess our performances are about matched as far as top end goes, but I don't know about acceleration.

But I'm glad your havin fun on it!

Pretty good. Do you have a trunk or big rack on your 2-wheeled truck? It seems to me the underseat storage isn`t very big, but I could be wrong.

On a related note, I just mounted a JCW top box on my scooter and took it for the first Extra Capacity grocery run this morning. I can get quite a bit under the seat, but I`ve always had to be careful not to overshop before. Today`s no holds barred shopping spree fit with no problems- life is good!
