I have a theory......
The GS will be a Wasser boxer but the GSA will remain as is for the near future, maybe this is what BMW hinted at when they said the air cooled motor would be around for some time yet.

If this is the case it sorta implies that the new Water Works motor will add weight. As the GSA is already fairly plump the extra weight is most likely not a benefit even with more horses.

I'd like more info as I'm keen to own a GSA , I sorta think that with 130 ponies I'd ditch two bikes and replace with just one.

Good theory other than the pictures of the new bike all have a big tank and spoked wheels. Suggests to me that it's a GSA that they are doing the testing on. Could be the GS is staying aircooled right enough but I would doubt it.

Didn't they come out with the 1150GSA and the 1200GSA one year after the normal ones? I think his theory is founded.

If the WasserBoxer adds weight, I'm out. The GS/ GSA line is already on the grande side as it is.

If it adds weight, I'm going orange. And I don't think I'm the only one thinking that way. Dealt with chains before, seems they might be more reliable than some final drives. . . . .
