It's like video game hype. Only a wee bit more expensive. And sometimes buggier.

So after people start buying the new water-cooled boxers, are we gonna start a new sub-forum to talk about them?

You mean waterheads?

Look at the translations from urbandictionary.com:

Quote:
A person with mental health problems, ie downs syndrome, or retard for the lay person.
Hey why do all the water heads work at McDonalds; Someone stop this water head from humping my leg; that effing water head just pooped his pants.

Look at that kid over there with a big 'ol waterhead.

I hope not; it is a modified engine but the frame and everything else seems to be identical.

Definitive release

I am going to be at the Intermot show in Cologne for the unveiling of the 1250 GS , I will post pictures and details here as soon as I can get them. My sources tells me the GS should hit the dealers in early April 2013 as a 2013 model and the GSA later in the fall as a 2014 model. Pricing is expected to be comparable to the current GS line up other than a possible small increase to cover the cost of making ABS standard across the entire Motorrad line. Stay tuned.

From what I've seen and heard, it will be a completely new bike top to bottom. Very little if any compatibility of parts. They even switched the side of the shaft drive if that tells you something about how different it will be.

Doing my part by posting one more. What a following bmw has. So many people interested in the details and more importantly the finished product. Hope the gsa is vastly better than the current one.

And no bike to show for it

The only improvements I really want over the current GSA is cruise control and all the weak parts to be made stronger. Doesn't really NEED more power or less weight.

Does need to break less

The drive line has also switched sides with the exhaust.

I hope the aircooled 1200's considerable decrease in price, so that I can finally afford one.
Although I'm very pleased with my problemfree 1150GSA.

Great idea, let's have a GS specific meet at Intermot, I'll start a new thread and we can work something out, after all it is at Oktoberfest time, what better reason to have a pretzel and wash it down with lots of brown elixer!!
