That what you mention, coupled with the host of other known niggles, and the new porous head issue. The thing is that no other bike in its class comes close to the MTS in its on road abilities.

Interesting....the dry weight specs on my 2011 were 496 lbs not 515. Perhaps a difference in option specs.

Anyone quotes this in the Orange Crush thread, I'll claim I was hacked.

But does anyone else see a V-Strom-ish look here? I guess the Austrians/Indians played it safe and mimicked the German/Japanese....

I CAN'T be the only one....

little more torque could be decieving

peak torque is only up a few but...... I would like to see the torque curve graphs of the present & outgoing models. the 13 with higher comp #'s could have a flatter more useable torque band

24 liters =6 3 gal, combined with better fuel economy you might not need add'l gasoline!

Fuck me. You are like a bunch of spoilt kids at Christmas.

Reading this thread:

You were so excited on Christmas Eve only to find that Santa had left you a iphone 4 instead of 5.

Grow up!

Never judge a motorcycle from the photos. They aslways look better in person.

Yes, it is ugly, Everything is until we all start riding them and become the norm (we are sheep )

It is bound to be a better motorcycle than the current one.

It will out perform you ( like all motorcyles)

I read the 24 liter quote somewhere too, but I see that the BMW website says 5.3 gallons...so my guess is that the 6.3 is not correct.

New GS

Check out MCN or Motorcyclenews.com for more pics. Looks good. Personally I am not a fan of plastic tank, nor the SuperMarioBrothers front fender......but thats just me!
