If you consider "weight" as the ennemy, more kg is not the way to go...
but the ratio power/weight is good.

Consider the new model WC being +9 kg from the actual DOHC one
(also in wet weight)

HP2E : 105 hp/175 kg ==> 0,60 hp/kg
WC....: 125 hp/212 kg ==> 0,59 hp/kg
DOHC : 110 hp/203 kg ==> 0,54 hp/kg

First Impressions

Hello Fellow Inmates

I've just returned from a few hours at Intermot. I can't add anything to the technical stuiff that other inmates have kindly produced for us all. What I can say is that in my view it looks better in real life than in the photographs. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm now eagerly for the Adventure version.

I'm sure they will sell a boatload, but I can't believe this is the same company that designed my R100S or R100RS. I just can't decide if it is in fact uglier than the R1200ST, which I loved to ride but just could not bear to buy when looking at it.
