Initially I thought you were stirring up the pot with some hokes-pokus, untill I saw Olavarez's post. Where did you read up on this? Oh well ...

Cool find I didn't understand a word he was saying, but imagine that he kept saying how good it is, over and over

Heard it too, but apparently doesn't happen when you convert to Celcius (which is 21, I share for free, for your convenience).

Thought it was already posted (what, did you actually think I would have missed it?).

No you are right. This is a "test" video, while their older version was just a first-person riding video.
They said they'll have an English version soon too.

Maybe there was another event after S. Africa that got less advertising (esp. because of Kevin...) to update more journalists on the new bike.

I am pretty sure that when S. Africa event took place, some 2013 GS's were already on other places of the planet.
Don't forget Touratech's CEO had one in Madagascar, I think BEFORE S. Africa.
Plus they talked about 1 million miles they did on it's R&D. I doubt all of them are in BMW's test fields.

Yesterday I found a review in a German magazine, it also mentioned testing for German press in Spain.

More an acknowledgement of something else.

I believe he was saying what I already knew, that blue is the fastest color.

Interesting.
And interesting points to highlight:

- He also says it is better in every way.

- This presentation was BEFORE S. Africa! Hmmmm... How come and nobody heard about it?

- Since there was a long talk here about the front-end, he finds it WAY better than the "old" one, since the "old" one lacked feedback (ok true, but you learn to trust it) and the new one HAS feedback. Hm.

- I think he says the the top speed is still the same (or close). Which doesn't fit well with what others mentioned (closer to 240 - but below IIRC). We'll see I guess. Personally I WOULD like a longer 6th both to maintain a more relaxed but fast mean speed and to achieve faster speed when there is space (240+). Pity.
