Anybody know if there is anybody making a black version of the crashbars?
I have H&B black on my (black) GS, but seems that H&B hasn't any news about new GS yet.

Yes someone can always paint them... Anybody with free time to do the photoshop work for BMW and Touratech versions?
Maybe they don't look good in black on the new GS.

Also has anybody found nicer looking cooler grids than Touratech version? I prefer thin chicken wire grils (that make it still look like a cooler).

I dont think black bars would look that good, as the frame is silver. Now, when the Triple Black version comes out next year, that would be the time for black bars

I prefer black usually because I like such a protruding thing "hidden" in the shadows as much as possible.

Well triple black is nice (I love black, pitty the dark 2013 GS is maybe the worse color, after blue), but my 2007 black GS also has silver frame but black bars look fine.

75 pounds less on the Tuono (give or take) and a chain drive more than makes up for that. :)

Maybe, but (strangely enough?) even my 100HP GS has taught a few lessons to similar bikes.
Maybe I was lucky, maybe they were (all) cases of useless riders, still the differences are not that much to compensate.
I mean if there was a huge power and ESPECIALLY handling difference between a tuono (as an example) and GS, then even that cr*ppy tuono rider would still win. Right?

That said, there has been at least one case were a scooter rider has kicked my b*tt.

I went for the BMW bars, but notice that the Touratech uppers are compatible, so can always add them later, once my bank balance has recovered.

For a change, the BMW engine guards look like they offer better protection than the Touratech ones.. With the TT, the valve cover is wide open and you need to add the valve cover protector.

I know, also ordered one. But the Touratech accesoires are in general a bit cheaper than the BMW ones. Protection bars a 100 euro less and the fog lights are 300 euro's less.
