The Akra makes a nice deep rumble and has the familiar pop on the overrun which I like. There's a noticeable increase in torque in the low-mid range and the engine seems even more free revving than before.
The instruction manual is very clear with step by step instructions to make removal of the original and installation very easy.

Does it remove the back-pressure mechanism?

The biggest draw back is that there is no JVB maintenance video yet, so I'm gonna wait a while...
Buy it and we'll make one on your bike!

No, but it shrouds it in an ultra sexy carbon fibre shield.

lights and panniers...

Regarding the led lights- here's another option if you're on the fence...

I'm happy with both the position and function... not as cool as the sideways horseshoe perhaps but as far as throwing out some light; werks.

Since it's snowed, again.., another foot, again. Finally got a chance to install the panniers tonight. Never a big fan of the scaffolding when the boxes aren't on but this combo matches well. Didn't have to drop the passenger footpegs for install (nor the rear rack/hand grip dealio) but I like it better trimmed up a bit.

Sorry about the quality of images... Be happy to send better quality to anyone who's interested.

BTW- 750 mls and loving it more every time I twist it.

They have shipped some to the US already (my Dad picked up a pair). Apparently the dealer had them ordered very early though.

By the way, I got to see the LED in person on a bike in the showroom. For those that haven't seen it, it is VERY bright! I was impressed.
It's a case of "Don't look into the light". They work really good
