Love! Lust! Whatever! '87 K100 RS

This is my first brick! A 1987 K100RS....Pearl white

DAMN!!! the more I ride it the more in love I become!!! It has 73K miles and runs like a dream. There are some cosmetic issues and the corbin saddle needs recovering, but DAMN I LOVE THIS BRICK!! I've put 3,000 miles on it in the last 6 weeks and plan on MANY MANY MORE!!

I also made the mistake of driving a '90 (i think) K75 LT....WOW ! Even more smoother and more betterer!!

So in the next year or so I am going to start looking for a K1100 LT for my Girlfriend and I to do some serious traveling.

Oh Crap! I cant attach a pic as I don't have enough posts...UGH!!!

Larry B

I'll try later

Lovin It !!!!!

Plans are set to meet in Medford Oregon May 7th to pick up SpecialKs. Larry just returned after 2 months of China. I'm sure he's excited to get this one out of the garage and put in view at the Quail Rally in Carmel. He's entered my bike and "THE BEAST" for the show. Lots to look forward to. Summer...decisions ...decisions

i got a few more around town at higher speed changes. i was just wondering if thats normalish. i personally liked it. like a m80 goin off. ha. i assume that means a valve job. but thats one mean sound, just wish i could keep it.

"They all do that." K75s make noise on medium to heavy engine breaking.

It's really not accurate when going 125MPH on a K75...with the legendary "No Vibe" of the K75 is feels more like 65MPH....

yeah, 125 on the k75 is like 65 on my suzuki dr200. it really makes me wonder how any other street going motorcycle exists. makes me want to fly, i think a hang glider is going to be my next investment

I had always heard and through my experience that any back-fire on a K-bike was due to your right wrist. You're not shutting the throttle off completely.

I'm surprised Duck didn't mention this, or maybe I'm way off base but I made the extra effort with my K75 and it worked for me.
