Your patience and understanding has been so very commendable.

Hope you get many years and miles of enjoyment from your Special K.

Wow, just wow.

I'd never own something like that. It's too nice for me.

I'm not into naked bikes because of the wind at speed but that digital speedo in the headlight is sweet.

I am looking for a small flyscreen for her but don't see a need for much more. She's just going to be a local bike getting me to the office.

The digital guage was one of many challenges for Larry. These are primarily used on Harleys and are wired differently (don't ask me how ). It took Larry 3 attempts to get the guage to sit in the bucket the way he wanted and multiple tries to get the chroming done. The wiring took on a life of it's own. While the bike is different then I originally mapped out in my head, I am grateful Larry wanted to experiement a little. I will not ride this as a primary motorcycle but will ride enough to enjoy her. My dual sport will carry the load. I must say it's been 5 years since I sat over a K and was reminded how beautiful the gas tank is. Very nice motorcycle.

Suggestion: Take the headers down to Performance Coatings in Auburn and get them ceramic coated in ChromeX. $75

I had a K100RS turbo - made about 132rwhp but since this was in the 90's that was a lot of hp back then. I loved the way the turbo spun up and the boost came on - it would sort of gather itself up and then it was like the had of god would come down and shove you down the road. It was terrifying on the track if you didn't plan your corner and the boost came on when leaned over.

Really fun bike.

Whoever did that put the "LT" on the wrong side.

And you'd want it on the left side anyhow to help offset the weight of the hack.

Another K100 sidecar. This one has 12 gallon aux tank in the sidecar... A bit hard on the eyes.
