These local K dudes stopped by my cabin today to pay me a visit.

The banana bike is an 83 K100 with a K1100RS fairing, paralever and K1100RS wheels with PR2s:

This is actual miles on the K75S:

Don't people ride their bikes or are they just really good at cleaning them....

What I like about these bikes is that the paint is very good. You can leave bugs and crap on it for months and months and when you finally get around to washing the bike the paint still looks great.

Clearly, over the months of posting a K a day, the photos we've posted are biased towards the well maintained and enjoyed. Most K riders are well known to ride...... ALOT. It's nice to know, when a little effort is put into cleanning a 20+ year old motorcycle....It looks pretty damn good.

I was at a BMW rally a few years ago and saw a perfect K75s, that looked like it rolled off the showroom floor. Looked at the miles and they were a tad over 100k.

Though I had some nightmarish maintenance episodes with my K1100, I am still enchanted by the appeal of K75. For sure, they look so damn sexy when cleaned up.

A question to the K-gurus : Could the K75 be lowered by a couple of inches ? My wife likes the K but the stock height is too much for her. If there is a way of lowering it, it'd go straight into our candidates list ( am sure it will give a stiff fight to the Bonnie)
