Bah, the FF50s are great for lighting up the road up but if you really want to be seen then what you need is a pair of these:
![]() When I come over to see your bike I'll bring one of my bikes with these (they all have them) and you'll see them from a mile away - literally. I first saw these on a riding buddy's bike and they ain't pretty but MAN do they work. Once you see them in person you'll be a convert.

Although they're 70W they aren't extremely bright. I can run them at night without blinding other road users. However, their orangeness does stand out and makes a bike extremely conspicuous, even in the peripheral vision of drivers.
(And they do pretty well as fog lights too.)

It's crazy how many fairings Pichler made for those bikes. I must say that the one I had for a summer worked very well though. It was quite good in thunderstorm rain but was great in the sun as well. I probably should've kept that one.
