Do you have the original harness? If so, the simplest solution would be to use the stock 200 one. How about some more pictures??

I'll trade you one from yesterday of Cliff working his way to the truck after a muddy, rocky, occasionally dry endurance ride:

Pics soon. Somewhat of a stock harness had to cut it up a bit due to the massive dry rotting

OK so I'm not a videographer but here's the BW in street (quazi) legal trim.
http://youtu.be/uIdHd_hC0kA Only thing from being totally legit is the tires. I'll get those DOT ones I've seen here when I can scrape up the funds. May try to ride it to work tomorrow about 15 miles and see how it goes on the highway. I'll keep you posted. Pumped the tires to a whopping 12psi helped it turn a little better.

Wingnut Racer,

That is excellent.

I like the little horn and turn signal switch you used so that you could keep the original headlight switch. Where did you find it and who makes that one? I like it much better than some of the other wiring kit ones I have seen.

As for the OEM tires on pavement, I have been on a two lane highway at reasonable speed without incident. I had the tires pumped up a bit too. Then again, that was dry pavement.

I got it on ebay for $11.00 this is the same one but more$$$ guess they sold em out. May get better mirrors I like seeing in the city. http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-8-Switch-L...7c90c4&vxp=mtr As for the tires on highway I leave for work before 5:00 a.m. so I can right lane it if need be. It's only 16 miles... I can do almost anything for 16 miles. I'll let you know how it goes. Rode pase a cop and I was all smiles being legit. Insurance was a staggering $64 a yr

How high did you go on the PSI on the tires. 12 feels suprisingly good. Huge improvement over the 5.8 for dirt. I run my flat trackers at between 9-13 depending on the track but dont plan on drifting this pig on pavement. Off road it's like pitching a 70's Caddy sideways.

I wouldn't expect that switch to last forever, but at that price, you could buy dozens and replace the switch at every third stoplight and still come out ahead.

switch

Yeah it's crap. Seems to be working fine. The switch is so small can't really feel it w gloves on. Well the trip to the Bronx was fine, may go up a tooth in the front for a little more top end. For a 350 single though it was fine.

Street tire pressure...

Wingnut Racer,

If memory serves, I had them at 15 psi for that outing. But, that was a bit too hard for the dirt/gravel road at the other end of the pavement. That's above the recommended pressure, but below the bead seating pressure by a good margin.

thanx Swamper. Think I'll have to go up a tooth or 2 for better top speed. Eventually those DOT's will go on but until then...

wingnut racer,

Thanks for the link to the operation in Vermont. When I get the current monumental project completed, I will simply have to engage them to get a license plate.

The bike looks great on the street. The video nearly gave me Vertigo, though. We occasionally poach some of the more remote roads up here and have never really felt uncomfortable about the bikes' handling. They will never handle like a GSXR but nobody even gives a GSXR a second look.

Completely unrelated: The BW426 is still for sale still in SoCal

I still don't know what I think of that bike but it is undoubtably intriguing.
