Just curious. Sixpepper, are you working on a plug and play CDI for the 350? Mine is fine but being paranoid has me on the search for one to keep on the shelf just in case.

By the way. Has anyone heard from Mr. Bigwheel? It's been a while since we have heard from him. I hope everything is okay with the founder of this forum.

SixPepper

Your CDI's for the BigWheel 200. I assume that they only work with the kickstart only models? Any thoughts on the electric start models? I think it's so amazing that you are
working on a CDI solution for the BigWheel.

When was the last time he was heard of?

Hey just a big Good'ay From Down Under. Western Australia.
Want a BW!!! Can't for love of Money find one in Australia, well one for sale anyway. So I have cheated, found all the relevant gear on Ebay to make one" I mean a bike with Big Wheels anyway" bought front end and rear end complete from parts to transform a Honda XR 400 into a Fun Machine. My idea is to buy a licenced XR 400 then do the transformation and all the " you can't ride that off-road bike here" people can go $%#@ off, cause it will be road registered. lol. I see the places you northern American riders go and think WOW if only. I live in perhaps the "Largest State in the World" and there are 3 places you are allowed to take an off road bike. Doesn't stop people but hey Government get a grip. If you want kids off the reserves, give us some Crown Land...

Hey guys that was longer than expected so Cheers, Have a good one!!

Wink Front Hub BW 200/350

I'm guessing pretty much most parts are identical, Um question what is the best way to change the front end to disk brakes?? Do you have to go the whole swap to Honda ATV 250 or Yamaha Tri z or can you swap the hub and forks??

New to this bike so excuse the ignorance!!

Hi Redman66-

Check out Mr BigWheel's set up on early posts- he has a Tri-Z front end. I have a Honda 250R front end one of my BW350s-I apologize for not including pictures (at the shop getting top end rebuilt). I think you nailed two of the better options for upgrading to a disc brake up front. Please send pics of your project in process. Good luck!

Marty

Nightmare, for sure. Based on the half-assed kicker, I don't even think this is a parts bike. If you get it for free, at least you could recover some scrap money at salvage.

Hey as I mentioned I just bought parts off a BW and I paid $300 just for the rear swing arm!!! Parts are rare as !!! Grab what you can and split it up, sell on Ebay , make some coin!!!

Good on ya...
You guys heard of the Suzuki RV 90 ? They were a road legal fat wheeled bike. I made 3 of them from bikes in about the same condition as the one above. Just lots of work. haha
Cheers
