Very nice to know, Jaubuchon. Gracias.
![]() This was from a tire testing session today. Five days of 40 knot winds polishes a frozen lake to a mirror-like perfection. These are the tracks of a slightly crossed-up BW:

ITP tires
Hi,
I'm new here, and I'm from Holland/Germany. I'm rebuilding my Big Wheel 200es and I saw here in this great threat that there are people with ITP tires 25 x 12 - 9. I'm looking for these tires, but I would like to know if they fit good in the rear swingarm. Because I will get a German road license for the BW200 and my dads BW350. Thanks, Röhrich |

You owe it to yourself Sticker. You wouldn't think that you could have fun for so long just going around in circles. Little circles. Big circles. Slow circles. Fast ones. All sideways. Finest entertainment available.
Röhrich, Welcome aboard! The 350 in the picture above is sporting the largest 25" tire I've ever mounted. It fits with 3mm rally studs and a fairly worn chain. It is a 25x12-9. If that fits in the swingarm, I think anything would. Regards, Mr. BigWheel

Hi, I have the 25x12x9 on the back of my 200n and it is tight with one half inch of space between the left swingarm and the rubber in one area ,the rest is better clearance, rocks and crud does build up some...
Check the Duro 4 Ply's..the tread I believe is more road worthy and apt to pass inspection. Mine is plated and have had it on the pavement some lately and they behave pretty well... Ill post pics when i figure out the rest of photobucket.. |

BW200 vs Rokon
The 200 is doing well, did basic maintenance (new primary chain, lubed swingarm, new air filter, oil & filter changed, painted exhaust). Runs like a champ. Now to see who will win the crown. The Rokon will go 20 mph top speed so that's a win for the BW. In slow speed, steep trail riding, the edge is to the Rokon. Once the weather warms up (I hear you laughing Mr Bigwheel) I'll take them both out for a real shootout.

Honestly i´d love to compare your ROKON vs. my Ecorider230D Woud be fun. Posted some clips on the tube. Had some comparison with my BW200ES and both where great in the bushes and forrests. BW200ES pro´s: speed, handling, weight Ecorider230D pro´s: DIESEL ( multi-fuel ), weight ( mules thru like a tractor), REVERSE gear, hitch. Neg´s of both: no EU Roadregistration, yet - but we are working on this all of u have a good 2013 !! banzaai, KoMa |

Röhrich,
There was about 15 to 20 millimeters between the tire and the swing arm. I did not think that I could safely put rally studs into that tire without having clearance issues. However, since that time, my chain has stretched considerably (usually falling off in the middle of a ride with Cliff) and there is considerably more room. Perhaps you could use an old worn out chain for the inspection for the road license? I'll get a picture of the clearance for you and Shercoman when the daylight comes back. This is a stock picture of the tire: ![]() This is the Duro HF 243 25x12-9. I'm using it to determine if it is worth getting a 24x11-10 for the Shercoman-modded wheel. Regards, Mr. BigWheel

The Superbird - yeah, I like unusual vehicles. Hence the reason I bought a BW. Hey, my friend has a 350 that I may be able to talk him out of. More details to follow. Here it is: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Duro 4 plys on the 200. 25 x 12 x 9 is a tight fit but works.....
the tread pattern on the 25 x 12 x 8 front Duro rides higher than stock, steering head angle is hardy different. RWBWheel screwed with this post 01-02-2013 at 05:51 PM Reason: screwed up picture.. |
