I was saving up to get one of those fancy KTMs to replace my KLR........ Now you have gone and ruined my plans....... My wife is going to hate you....... But I love you in a purely moto-platonic way...... I want one......

When I started this project, it was for the pure joy of doing what I wanted to do. Then, after seeing alot of interest, Im going to try to make the parts and build notes avaliable to those wanting.

I still have a few things remaining to tidy up - like the shifter lever linkage, rubber mounted bar rises,... This stuff take time !

Looks great! Awesome job thus far. I'm pretty sure you have pulled me away from a KTM

I hope to be one of your first satisfied customers.

Do you think a mono-shock is in the future, or does the dual set-up seem to be the way to go?

Thanks Thom!

I struggled with the decision of mono vs twin initially and even had a rough concept of how to do a mono - but it was structurally suspect as a bolt-on solution. I didnt want to do a frame mod. So, I moved forward with a twin which works pretty good so far as tested on road and light dirt.

I plan to get in the rough dirt this weekend and will take some photos and report how it works.

sounds good but you'll have to be second

Love those rear sets

Plus the 1200 motor is a kick in the seat

I still havent weighed it. I pulled out the bathroom scale last week and dead battery. Now that you reminded me, I'll fix that and weigh it.
