Have you considered a Kickstarter project?

Obviously there is a large following on ADV boards that avidly follow your progress and are interested in both the concept, and potential commercialization of it. Have you considered starting a Kickstarter project to help spread awareness?

http://www.kickstarter.com/start

I think this more than qualifies, it is unique, design and technology oriented, and you could potentially benefit from a wider audience providing feedback and interest as you get close to making a kit available.

Just an idea - Hope it is useful!

Thanks Lanny. Yes, I have been considering it. We'll see how it goes next year.

Foot Controls and Exhaust

New foot controls and exhaust installed. Works nicely.

FOOT CONTROLS: I decided to design and make my own foot controls for a few reasons - 1) I needed to get the peg positions lower to a point where it is comfortable to stand and less cramped. Im 6'-0" and the previous controls were still too high for me due to using a low exhaust that limited the peg height, and 2) I wanted a more integrated look, so I made the levers match the swingarm ano and look.

I separated the brake and shifter pivots from the pegs and made strong independant peg mounts.

The shift lever moment arms were increased and I added a larger diameter pivot bushing resulting in less force required to shift and it feels more precise.

EXHAUST: is a Supertrapp megaphone. I needed a mid pipe and that also had a spark arrestor. This is the only pipe available I could find to fit the bill. I also needed to make an exhaust hanger that integrated with the shock mount. Came out nice. Only problem is that when standing, the pipe sticks out a bit too far. I'll probably make a mod here some day, but its workable for now.

Here are a few pictures....
