Customer Service From Geigerrig
ADV Riders,
I've been reading here that a couple guys here have had difficulty getting their questions answered. Boy am I sorry about that. We have tried so hard to provide great customer service, and the rapid growth of our company has certainly kept us on our toes. I personally want you all to know that you have a direct route to me and Curt Geiger. My e-mail address is bob@hubcityoutdoor.com. Curt's e-mail is curt@hubcityoutdoor.com. You can also call our direct lines at 801-823-3336. X101 for me and X100 for Curt. WE WILL CALL YOU BACK. We really value the inmates here at ADV rider, and will try our best to take care of you. As a point of note... I'm getting about 350 e-mails a day now, so sometimes it is a good idea to just call my direct line and drop me a note. I promise I'll get back to you, as will Curt. Thanks again to you all. Direct line to my desk... Best Regards, Bob Geiger |

100oz. question
None of the smaller packs come with the 100oz. hydration engine --correct?
But which of the smaller packs can accommodate the bigger bladder? Is there an insulation pouch available for the engines? Thanks!

Anyone know if the 2L engine will work with an Ortlieb COR 13?
(I like my waterproof backpack, but the Camelback hydration pack is a hassle to get in/out.) I have a feeling no one has tried this combo, but figured I'd give it a shot.

Geigerrig for fishing&motorcycling
I love fishing as well as motorcycling, and recently spend some time in TX doing both. Rode out to a ranch that a friend had a fishing lease on, ran about five miles on dirt roads, put on the water shoes and waded a bunch of tanks and a lake catching bass & bluegill on poppers/Clousers with a flyrod. Used the Geigerrig 700 for snackbars, water and fishing gear. Afterwards I had to rinse the mud off my feet to get back into boots. After a day on the water fishing I still had plenty of water on tap to rinse my feet, and the pressure-powered flow made the job really easy without using much water! Had enough to make it home.

7 days to get the stuff!! Really nice product and I can't wait to use it!!
I have two comments... I got the insulated tube and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to make it work (pull, not twist), instructions would be helpful. The other item would be having an option to upgrade to the 3L bag (if it fits). Thanks.

GEIGERRIG Response
Hey there ADV Riders,
Thanks for the kind comments again and for the communication that we get at the office via e-mail: bob@hubcityoutdoor.com. A note: The RIG 700, RIG 500 and RIG come with 2L Hydration Engines. However, they will also accomodate the 3L Hydration Engine as well. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that. Always feel free to contact us directly anytime. BTW.... My e-mail is bob@hubcityoutdoor.com, but you can also contact curt@hubcityoutdoor.com and matt@hubcityoudoor.com. We will all do our best to respond and take care of you. Love the crew here at ADV Rider. Looking forward to more communication with you all. Best Regards, Bob Geiger GEIGERRIG Hydration Packs |

Video - Drinking Urine From a GEIGERRIG - Product Review
VIDEO Review - This guy is a runner and is in training for a 50 Kilometer record. As soon as he got his GEIGERRIG, he filled it with his own Unrine, took it on a 3 hour run, and provided his report. (We didn't asked him to do that. It is just how his crazy mind works apparently.) So, some of you have asked us if we have found a way that you can drink your beer twice....This video review may provide the answer:

Filter Connections
Picked up Giegerrig Rig 1600 recently via Amazon and was going to order a Filter. I noticed in the Filter Ready Tube, online video*, it shows the filter coming with a Quick Connect Male and Female connectors and how to make your own filter ready drink tube. Do those attachements still come with a filter, or must you now buy the filter ready tube in addition to the filter?
* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls6UQ...feature=relmfu -= Scott FWIW - First trip out with the pack worked great, until I got low on water - hot day, long ride. Hence the interest in the filter. Other than that pack is great. Loved how I could clean off my Helmet Shield, and spray water down my back to cool off...did I mention it was hot?

Thinking about picking up the 1600. Any of you guys run a giant loop Coyote and use one of these? I just wondered if the bags will be hitting each other.
