I'm definitely thinking of you and Mondays.
I added the Sherrars to Maupin Deschutes River run, after re-reading about your travels there last Fall.

But today, it's snowing monster flakes in downtown Hood River.
I'll hope, and try to plan for next Monday.

Where do YOU wanna go next?

Hey, I'm in. Mondays can be good for me. Tell me where to meet and I'll be 10 minutes late. Of course this foot of snow we weren't going to get (according to the weatherman this morning) could cause me a problem if it doesn't go away. John

Well, I actually haven't planned anything for next Monday, yet...
It's just the only weekday el gn has available.

But how about this Friday, asrvivor?

Ah suck I'll be in Spokane working till Sunday. You know how close Spokane is to Canada and you know how those Canadians are. It's OK though their money spends the same. But still......

deep

We have about 2 feet here at The Lazy Lodge so I am sure AJ has even more. I think riding might just be in hold.

I planted a snow riding jibe in OC.

Let's see if AJ finds it.

Yeah there was plenty of snow today, but the roads are already clear tonight,
and it's gonna rain for two more days at 45 degrees.

Friday's ride still looks REALLY GOOD, it's a better forecast every time I look.

NOAA Forecast:
The Dalles
Friday

Partly Sunny
Hi 53 F

TourPros, you owe yourself a local history lesson, Cali is in your past like a bad dream.
Let's go Friday, dood, we can shorten the miles for your non-touring XR, or you can gladly take the lonely Shadow out.

Scottnt?
Craig McCurdy?..........Where are you....?

Don't let the snow on the side of the road scare you, we just put it there to keep the Portlanders from LIVING here....
We just want your Tourist Dollars

I'll do another ride with el guapo nada and asrvivor for Monday, when they're available.
Where you wanna go Monday?

Not sure yet! That's two days from now... But I have been wondering if there might be a way to go from

45 18.937'N / 121 3.958'W
to
45 15.049'N / 121 5.083'W

There looks to be a power line road but I'm guessing it's all private land. I think this is in some of the area that you are thinking of riding on Friday?

Plan

What have you got up your sleeve for this ride? I dont have a rain suit or dual sport helmet so lets keep this in mind a little. Not that I am a full on fair weathered rider and I dont know what a clean bike looks like but still.

So now, you're showing off technology !
Where do you find coordinates, I've tried Google maps, Mapquest and MapSource....
