Is this why you guys told me to carry a patch kit? :P
Thankfully my dad spotted it before the head wore off, I never would have noticed it. Looks like a roofing tack, both of us had our houses roofed recently. It was all the way through, but didn't seem to be leaking.

The patch will likely fail in the heat the tire creates. But,,,,if it's yer second flat of the day.....a patch might still get you home ![]() DAMHIK... ![]() ( I recently had some experience on that very subject ) HEY!! I don't think I can make it, I would love to but it is getting a little too close to the due date of my wife and I's first baby. Might get a chance to get out and ride Saturday but no overnight excursions for me right now.

It's been a busy busy summer and I don't think I can spare a weekend. My dad and I are gearing up to ride through Glacier next week. I finally got him talked into buying a bike, first one since his two-stroke Suzuki 185 that he sold in the mid-80s. He got a DL650 as well. I tried to get him to look at the KLRs, he owns a Kubota so I figured that would be a natural progression, but he was more comfortable getting a bike like mine.

Broke my first turn signal just after crossing paths with AJ last weekend. Ordered an OEM replacement ($$$), will investigate less vulnerable alternatives for next time. Figured I found the limits of the 'Strom and I after another nap - I bugged out at the next road crossing. I need to quit trying to follow those small orange things. Maybe I'll get a more suitable bike next year, or start taking out the TC90.

We weren't following AJ, just happened to cross paths with him. I was chasing boardforever on his DR and some of his buddies on KTM 2-strokes.
Well I have a 2-stroke too! ![]() Put some new decals on the VS the day before and nicked one of them in the spill. Oh well.

![]() ![]() Buy two blinkers at a time, you'll eventually need them. Fortunately KTM's blinkers are $17 for the whole group of parts, and I usually only break pieces of it at a time
