Update on trail conditions

I would expect most of Barlow to be snowless, but the top from FS43 to Hwy35 likely has similar old frozen stuff.

AJ - Do you have an update on the condition of Barlow and some of the other trails around Hood? Have a new Beta 450RS I'm still trying to get to know, and would like to head out that way this weekend.

Great weather!!

I decided to head through Bull Run yesterday to the gorge. Waited for the frost to thaw, headed out about noon, sweet ride!

Bull Run power station on the Sandy River.

Women's Forum lookout, east to Crown Point.

Dropped down to Bridal Veil, plenty of water in all the falls.

Lunch at Cascade Lock's. FYI the main Char Broil burger restuarant is under remodel 'til march, but the downstairs restuarant is still serving great burgers.

'Bridge of the Gods'.

Bonneville power station.

Horsetail falls.

Recently remodeled tunnel.

Get out there, OREGON IS...FUCKIN AWESOME!!

Nice ride!

Great pics Squishy! Looks like you had a good day of riding!

I have a small group planning on an OBDR ride August 27th going into Labor Day weekend. Routes are still being ironed out. Interested?

I ended up on a cage trip yesterday, but I still managed to find some awesomeness.

Sounds like a great trip Jim, although for me the year is filling up pretty quickly, will talk to you about it on the Barlow campout.

Nice pictures Squishy, way to get out there. Is there a dirt route between Sandy and Gorge you took, or did you stay on pavement?

Nice looking tunnel, something tells me that's not legit?

BT roads through Bull Run to larch Mtn, then dirt to Bridal Veil.

Legit...those bollards are there only to stop 4 wheeled vehicles right!

Just like those 'Bike lanes' on the outter edge of every highway...just gotta watch out for those lazy pedal machines though!

Great photos Squishy! It looks like it was a nice January day for a ride.

I have never noticed your speedometer before, that looks awesome! Can you get it up to 140?
