My baby.

81 750 F, with Kerker pipe.

46k, goes like stink.

I recently let her sit a month without riding, (busy month, bla bla, I suck) and she started after less then 4 seconds of cranking.

good old girl!

However, I'm quite enamored of the modern cb1100.

5500 miles. Doesn't burn a drop of oil, goes like stink, is supremely comfortable, and sounds like a CB750 should. Oh, almost zero maintenance.

That is a beautiful Nighthawk. You really should get it out and ride it more. These things are drying up and its hard to find one that is not used up these days. I am sorta on the fence between a good used one (if I ever find one) and a CB1100 which is going to be way more money. If I ever find a good nighthawk I am going to ride the wheels off of it.

First and last year CBX's

It is rare to see one CBX out in the wild, but yesterday we had 3 together in one place.

Here is my 82 parked with a 1979 CBX. Later in the day another 1982 showed up. We rode the matching bikes out of the show together.

I never thought I would ever get to ride with another one.

Thanks! I'm 29, but had never been near a motorcycle until this June when I bought it. Made an eventful ride home

Torrance? I don't think I've seen one of those in the wild yet.

I had that!

I had that bike for years, but orange. I got it when I was 14, as a leftover, held on to it until a schoolbus pulled out in front of me three days before I turned 21... GOT MY WINGS THAT DAY!! I had no pipes on it when the bus got me, she tried to say she didn't hear me. I spoke to a kid on the bus later and he said they were all saying" You're going to hit him!" Guess what, they were right.
Oh well, I lived, even kept my leg, which took the brunt of the hit, that and my foot, kept that too!
