I traded a Savage .309 and a Glock 19 for this 1982 CB900F and most of a 1981 donor bike earlier this summer. Rode it home and have been riding it ever since. It's a bit cold-blooded when it's cool and something snapped in the clutch on the way home from a recent ride around Winnipesaukee, but everything's so easy to fix on these and I haven't had any other problems.

Unfortunately I rode it so much this summer, my awesome rock star van in the background there decided to finally give up the ghost in protest.

And here it is after the right side cover decided to eject mid-flight on I-95. Anybody else have a problem with those? They're just held in with those 3 plastic/fiberglass studs in rubber grommets. Luckily I have another full set of tins from the donor bike, but the new side cover will need a matching paint job. I think I'm actually going to dremel out the front studs and put cotter pins through them.

Figured I'd revive this thread due to some really cool bikes being posted, that Turbo is bonkers, more photos? Anyone have big plans for their CB over winter? I have a short list that I have been working away at...pick up NOS tank from dealer (finally has shipped), install new Dunlop Road Smart rear tire - install stage 1 Jet Kit - Rizoma Black tappered bars - clutch fluid flush - oil change. Thats it for now - next winter is full suspension convert; racetech or YSS still deciding - recovering of Corbin seat - galfer brake lines...and who nows what else. Gotta love these bikes though, its becoming an obsession as much as it is a pure passion.

Used to own one of these, in hindsight I should have kept it, 1975 CB400F.

Just bought this from a friend who needed the cash. 2008 CBR600RR. Low mileage, clean, mostly stock. I was looking for something a bit more like a Tuono or Speed Triple and lust after Daytona 675 but this came up and I don't regret it. Great bike, comfortable for what it is, has great power delivery for a 600 I-4, and obviously handles very well. Can't wait for a track day!

A buddy of mine had one of these back in the day before Japanese bikes handled.
It seemed awefully trick at the time! I still like them.

A few more gorgeous machines added, that CBR is immaculate! I was stoked to stop at the dealer today and see this waiting for me....finally after a few months of wanting and waiting it is here.

I know its not much to get exicted about, but I'm stoked. And if anyone needs another tank let me know, mine had some bubbles under the paint after the PO fixed a large dent. I wasn't going to settle with the bubbles, my wife says I'm OCD.
