IF the 6 gal. tanks were made without the ugly lower lobes of the Safari tank, that cover up that beautiful engine, that would be a big motivation factor for me to buy a 6 gal. tank.

This is friggin' HUGE for me!

My first bif was so harsh that it stripped the fuel level sensor right outta' my first tank...perfect hit, perfect spot...RUINED! My last big fall was on asphalt. And, just the thought of possibly having to replace another tank made me think of selling the bike, altogether.

In fact, in my e-mail to Mr Schuler, I mentioned that any tank, that he might decide to build, should be STRONG. That much weight, that high-up...

Just my $0.02. YMMV...

Not me. The extra little bit of range 6 gallons would give wouldn't be worth the price, besides we'll all just go to the limit anyways and still run out of gas it will just be farther from home.

I understand it's a low production bike, and things will cost more for it, but as I said elsewhere, it's hard to swallow that price.

I hear back from clockwork, said they are listening...
