Eastern KY riders?

I live just outside Ashland, KY, and am looking for other adv riders to share the trails with. Are there any active members in the tri state area that want to do some day trips, or maybe a weekender every now and again? I like riding any road except the interstate...

There is already an eastern KY. thread in here some where. Also look into the adventure in Ohio thread. Those FnF's cross the state lines on occasion. Oh, and welcome to the asylum ya noob. Now get me a bacon sammich and post up some pictures!

Hey FF's, I'm going to move back to Greenup County for a while staying with my Mom. I will be bringing a DRZ400 and my min van KLR. I may bring my Gas Gas trials bike, not sure yet. But I will be touring the tri state area, covered bridge cruise, many places to go see.

I will be looking for friends and is there a ADV type meeting place/watering hole?

I am really not sure. The cruisers meet at texas roadhouse once a month. I haven't seen to many ADV type riders around yet.

I have been wanting to do the covered bridge tough for a while now.

I'm in E. Kentucky. All of my riding is on asphalt though. Gravel roads and clipons don't mix so well and actual trails are out of the question.

Keep an eye on Adv in Ohio thread for rides in se Ohio. If we have another dualsport camp out this year, I'll try to let you know!

I'm in Morehead, up for gravel or paved roads on the Tiger, need to do some maintenance on the KLR then will be up for something rougher. Let me know if you are over this way.

Morehead is only an hourish from me. Next time I can get a nice day off, I'll yell. Maybe you can show me some decent backroads.

I live about 45 miles from Ashland, don't do much gravel anymore tho. I have a buddy who lives in Catlettsberg and rides a KTM 950, has done the TAT etc. I could PM you his email if you like.

Looking forward to meeting you inmates.

Little weekend ride. This is looking SE toward PIlar and the Rio Grande river, south of Taos.

North of Mora, south of Angle Fire.

Near Sipapu ski area.

Abique Lake

Jemez Mountains

At a friends place near Sipapu. Ready for rain.

End of a 500 mile weekend. 11 miles form my house. Always a great place to watch a sunset.

Picked up my Tiger Explorer Saturday in Maine. Got home to Pikeville Sunday night. Up to meet and ride anywhere in eastern Ky. Scheduling is usually my only enemy.
