In October 2009, Hooksett resident Ben Slavin set out on a 23,000 mile journey through 15 countries on his Kawasaki KL650 motorcycle, nicknamed "El Burro." With only his rudimentary Spanish and advice from fellow motorcyclists to guide him, Slavin spent six months motorcycling from New Hampshire to Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. Throughout his voyage, he documented his adventures on his blog,(www.AFewMoreMiles.com). Slavin has just returned from another month-long ride south of the border, where he was filming an educational and inspirational how-to-guide for Motorcycling in Mexico (www.MotorcycleMexico.com).

Ya, sorry for the short notice. It was fun. About 25 folks showed up. Good times. Good cookies. I'm working on getting another presentation setup with a local dealer. I'll keep ya'll in the loop.

Wink

Wow, the Lee librarian sent out an email to the NH librarian list serve with a good review of the presentation and instantly a handful of libraries around the state have emailed me about presenting with them.

Check up on the first post, I'll keep it updated with show times. Hope to meet some of you guys!

Cool idea! Nice way to get people to come to public libraries too. I'll try and attend the Gilford show. Belmont is very close to Gilford but I know the librarian there and if you want to add a presentation I may be able to get her involved.

How about a 'bump' a couple days before each one so we can try to sneak one in?

+1 on that. Planning on doing a Patagonia trip in November, am very interested. Riding over to WH and buying some stuff is an annual event.

Certainly, have the librarian contact me (ben AT motorcyclemexico DOT com). I'm keen on more presentations. Thanks!
