home made aluminium panniers in garage

hello al my name is steve a live in Roumania
I make my self my paniers in the garage 1 set full aluminiu and now i try 1 set whit the bottom by fibreglass.I put some picture.

Don't worry about haveing bad english either as being fluent in english is most inmates dream including mine

Question though ?
Did you consider welding or bonding your aluminum seal edge to the box & lid instead of riviting ?
