What's going to happen with the Zuma? It would be nice if you could keep both.

I never keep two bikes but the Zuma would be nice to hang onto as its small and super convenient. Heck get a hitch rack and bring it places on the jeep.

Took a little ride on the Versys today through the older, rougher side of town.

I have thought about that a lot. I want to keep it Zuma related but it almost seems to have become as much of a personal blog as anything else.

There sure seem to be a lot of fake storefronts around there.

With those two bikes, I would have forgotten the Zuma for awhile, then eventually went back to it, and unless I had another bike, probably sold the Versys. Scooters are such easy bikes to get get on and go. Many of my scooter rides are just on impulse, I hop on for a "short" ride and end up 200 miles away. I have 3 motorcycles left, a Goldwing, a Vulcan 750, and an XT225. The Goldwing is for sale. The Vulcan 750 will then be my only freeway capable bike, and it is so laid back and comfortable that it almost feels like a large scooter, but one where you can easily get your feet on the ground. I will keep it as long as it lasts. It has over 74,000 miles on it and there is a reason why. And the XT is what I consider the worlds best trail bike, too small for me really, but very light and easy to toss around. Plenty of power and suspension for non racing use, and I'l bet it'll go places an XR560L won't. Another keeper, since there is way more fun left in it than it can be sold for. But over the next several years, as the motorcycles wear out, I will be down to just scooters. By then my Vino 125 will probably be about worn out, and I want one last scooter, which must be freeway legal. Not a huge maxi, maybe a 250 or 300.

Looks good with the cases. How do you like the stock seat?

The stock seat is horrible. Feels like you are sitting on a forward sloping 2x4.
