Hey Guys,

There are some new pics available now (released today) of the Badlands Pro and Latitude.

They are over in vendors on the appropriate threads.

Best,

Anthony

Thought I'd bump this one, too.

The Badlands Pro is now up on the Klim website.

They're not ready for delivery, so they're marked "Out of Stock", but when I called Klim, both the Badlands Pro suit and the Latitude suit are scheduled to drop in "late October"

WebBike World has their report up on the Klim Badlands. Short summary is that it is very nice with a few problems, and pricey.

Apparently, Touratech has added the Latitude and the Badlands to their catalogue and website.

Add two more items to their list of things that are on back-order

I'm fortunate to have had opportunity to wear the Badlands. I currently have BMW street guard suit. Safe, warm, dry. THe Klim is this times 10. Very obvious rider input on this well made gear. I'm sold. My BMW gear will be up for sale in the coming months to make space for the tailor fitted feeling Klim

One more thing. I see a lot of Klim gear from fleece, gloves, to primary layers in my closet. Great gear at great prices.

Love Klim

I bought a Klim Inversion jacket just to use as a techincal softshell. Which, I guess, is really what it is.

Just a heads up... Klim expects to get the Badlands Pro in on November 28th, allow a day or so to process them into their inventory, then they'll be shipping to customers.

So much for late Oct. :-(
If they get it right I will be ok with the wait :-)

What do y'all think about the armor in the Badlands vs., e.g. the Rallye3's NP armor?

I've read what's available on the Badlands, and the suit looks great - updated technology, thoughtful design. Just wondering if the d3o armor would be up to the task in a street crash.

we wore the Inversion jacket almost every day on our trip to Alaska this summer. Doesn't pack all that small but sure keeps you warm up to a point, good wind breaker and repels water. I even slept in it. I really like mine and have used it once or twice under y traverse jacket as an extra liner but went back to my Gerbings heated liner instead.
