i use grey gear that is not hot like black nor obnoxious like all high viz,
but still get all the benefits. i do not notice it's even there yet it's unreal reflective and visible. i wear a vented revit jacket. no air restrictions either.

JJ & Fleny - I am envious.

After reading your reviews I am now wondering weather I need an XL; 510 200lbs.

I do use a Hi Vis vest during heavy city commuting but prefer plain simple long lasting colors on my adventure rides.

Mine arrives Nov 28 and since Seattle is experiencing cold rainy weather I will enjoy testing mine.

Question sizing with layers?

For those of you that have them, and say sizing is great. How much room do you have to put layers under to make this 4 season kit? Could you fit your normal gear and say heated gear or extra fleece gear underneath with out having to go a size up?

Plenty of room in the pants for layering (was able to wear my Forcefield armored pants underneath). I have not tried layering under the jacket yet, but my electric vest fit just fIne. Sorry, not more help, but the suit showed up yesterday.

Yup good room... have worn a longsleeve shirt with a T-shirt over that, then a sweatshirt with a fleece jacket over that. Also a fleece neck gator under the jacket collar lots of room.
Wore the pants with knee/ shin guards last week plenty of room. Gonna wear long underwear under my cargo shorts tomorrow under the BP pants and test out the new access slots the wife sewed into the mesh to get into my inner pockets. Good fitting stuff sofar

sizing of Klim Badlands

14Traits -
Klim Badlands is a very generous cut jacket / pant combo. You should have ample room for your heated gear / and mid or base layers. To truly keep you warm on those frigid rides, you should consider investing a sweat-wicking base layer, such as the Klim Inferno that adds warmth but not much bulk. Just whatever you do, stay away from cotton if you're looking to stay warm.
Cheers,
Ali

Grey suites arrived in town

Ye Ha - - Buddy called (NWboarder) and told me the Grey suites arrived in the Seattle area. Went down to the local shop that had them on the shelf (I-90 motorsports - Issaquah WA) . So the November 28th delivery date I was told appears to have changed. Will pick up my suite Monday. Can't wait.

True story.

Man I like that jacket. There is something about it, that you instantly feel really safe wearing it.

Pretty sure I wouldn't miss my Rally 2 Pro, if I got it.
