So are you rolling into one big orange bike or one little orange bike? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, it was going to be one medium sized INTENSE ORANGE bike...

But went and introduced myself to Wayne, thanked him for helping with our rally over the years, and fell in love with a GREEN BIKE!!! Khaki they call it... the same matte green as the Steve McQueen bikes!!!!

didn't mean to hit a nerve there BW, I can see that bike taking the place of the two you have now. I was thinking you where leaning more toward the KTM500 and that was the reason for my comment. and i was mostly picking at you because you've been bitten by the bike bug.

The 500 is down the road a few years but still possibly in the future plans... :-)

You are going to like that. I've not seen that color yet on a Tiger - post up some pics.

The color in pics online just doesn't do justice to how that one looked out in the sunlight at CSC! I am sad putting my other bikes up for sale, but ready to try something different! Been watching Omar try to sell his KLR and afraid they just are not moving right now... :-(

You will forget the old bikes in a hurry if the new bike is a winner - I asked myself daily why I got rid o my 3 bikes that I had owned for 9, 5, and 4 years while I was trying to adapt to being KLR only. I would have been ok except for long trips. I made a better compromise this time but gave up dirt. Except for the price, my first choice was the Tiger 800 XC. I suspect you can do KLR and Wee riding on it.

+1

Probably why I had three bikes for a while, the Tiger wasn't good enough to make me sell the wee. Now I'm back down to two and one of them is on a battery tender.

I just hope I can sell the two 650s soon. I got the Wee from Kickstand consignment room and may have to take it back!

Backwoods,
There is a 2012 XC with 500 miles on it for $11.5K in the flea market owned by a little old lady.

Got plane ticket to California? i could ride and fly. Not the color I want but to get to meet The Peach might be worth it! The plane ticket would cost more than the upcharge to a new one....
