Yes did the trip last June from Salt Spring Island to Inuvik, Had my pet bird along for it too. Packed my summer things and fall and winter kit too, Need it for the passes on the Demperster it was snowing at times,
The speedo broke on day two of the trip so every three hours it was time to stop and gas the bike up. Carryed 1 10 l and two 25 l cans for it as the ural only get about 10 km per liter. You can seach and find my report on it with utube clip too. |

After a long look at it it must be one of those space aliens that as just ran into the picture. They seem to haunt the road up there. Poping up at odd times and playing games with your bike. The story as it they eat tires and drink your gas out of the bike. One as to be careful of them.
I best check the rest of my pictures to see what other things are hiding in them, Found one of a hairly thing that hitch a ride for a few miles . Rode on the back of the bike and loved to wave at the cars behind me. David |

The Old Timers say large man eating cats will not attack of you watch them. So Mr Hairly job was to watch what was behind me on the trip. Must have worked as I was not jump be a cat or older ladies.
