Suzuki recalls 73,000 motorcycles Powersports Business Friday February 25, 2011 American Suzuki Motor Corp. has recalled more than 73,000 motorcycles because of a circuit board issue. The affected bikes include various 2008-2010 AN400 , DL1000, GSF1250, GSX-R600, GSX-R750, GSX1300B, GSX1300R, GSX650F, SFV650, VL800, VLR1800 and VZ1500 models equipped with regulator/rectifier assemblies. Some of the regulator/rectifier assemblies were produced with insufficient adhesion between the circuit board and the rectifier case, therefore heat generated on the circuit board can cause the circuit board to deform and lift the case. If this occurs, the battery may be insufficiently charged, causing the bike to stall or not start. No injuries have been reported because of the defect. Suzuki will notify affected owners about the recall, and repairs are expected to begin March 2. |

Glad my Wee isn't on that list!! And I think my little '71 Trail is beyond any recall issues.
