The Greater Catskills Area BK.RD.Run Version 3.0 Aug. 27th & 28th 2011

* THIS IS AN INFORMAL GROUP RIDE. SHOW UP WITH YOUR BUDDIES, AND GO*

Here we go again!

I'm planning a similar format to last year's ride, and changing up the routes a bit. Hopefully we'll have good weather!

I'm also hoping to find someone willing to lead a second group if we have a large turnout so that everyone can ride at a comfortable and fun pace.

Feel free to refer to the last two threads to get an idea of specifics...

The Greater Catskills Area BK.RD.Run Version 2.0 Aug. 14th & 15th 2010

The Greater Caskills Area BK.RD.Run Aug. 15th & 16th 2009

Hope to see the framiliar faces as well as some new ones .

As well, any locals in the vacinity who would have suggestions for dirt/ seasonal use only roads to add to the route would be appreciated.

Recon rides will be Fridays and or Sundays this year if anyone wants to tag along, or show me around some new roads (or trails ).

Feedback Welcomed!!

Oh Yeah! One more thing... Rode2Nowhere will NOT ride sweep this year!!!

...Letz Do It!...

Edit: Campground Map Link Added...

I'm in if I get my hands on a dirt bike!

Edit: We can use my cabin (I only say cabin because I'm from Long Island, it's a freakin house!) as a stopover/campout/whatever if needed, it's near Tannersville if that helps.

Moving it away from the Unidilla date ought to pull in some more folks.

Maybe we can get a few paramedics in on the ride......................

Oh, and fast tire changers also.

Dont worry BP I plan on carrying a few topless shots of you. That should instantly shock any injured party resulting in instant recovery or death either way they will not suffer. If that doesn't work I'll bring my Marine Corp field manual with me I always wanted to try out a few of the field surgery chapters. If that doesnt work I think my CPR certification is still current. There's a guy in the area (westchester / putnam) who teaches a course on basic first aid and CPR for people with young kids old parents etc etc etc. I could try to find his info if anyone is interested

Bummer. I'm working that weekend. Hopefully I can get someone to pull a swap with me.
