So far, so good. I ride it everyday. I ran the vacume lines wrong originally. Now I fixed it, but lost some speed. I need to rejet. It still does in the 50's. But not as easily.

AWESOME! Just read your whole thread and I have to say I'm jealous of your scooter! Also, that's a big bulldog, mine barely tips the scale at 50 lbs and he's scared of anything that is large, metallic and loud. Rock on dude!

Strange that you lost performance. What was wrong?

The short story.....
I ran the lines tight. And the line off the valve cover popped off. So I tuned it with a vacuum leak. Now it's getting much less air for the jetting. Feels restricted.

I bought my shock in 2005. The ruckus bottoms out real easy above I am real fat. So it was the right move back then. I bought it from battlescooter.com.

The wiring I just plugged it all together. It was no big deal. As for my scooter, it's doing great. As it got warmer I had to readjust the air screw. But it feels good. I changed to Mr Pulley variator. It pulls good, but lost a little in top. It pulls strong thru 45 mph. After that it creeps. Top speed is no longer 60, but 56 mph. I find myself cruising in the high 40s most of the time with enough left for passing. The dog hates anything of 30. The wind is too much for him. I am working on winglets for him now.
