It looks super cool. Watching the hill climb in person is so much cooler than on TV. I will need to see if we can swing this. If we go we may trailer over and camp, anybody else?

Just made my hotel res at Sunnyside Country Inn. Less than 1/2 mile from Snipes Mountain Brewery.

18 miles from the hillclimb, ground floor room, $55 a night. http://www.sunnysidecountryinn.com/

Did I mention the motel is less than 1/2 mile from the local brewery?

I've seen Travis Whitlock, Robie and Bret Peterson, Dusty Beer, and Harold Waddell duke it out in Billings, MT and Emmett, ID. They are fierce competiors. Should be an awesome show

Also: The motel is walking distance from a brewery..........

I'll be there, and plan on heading over to Beverly Dunes, for a little rip in the sand.

Get'n Stoked

I just got off the phone with the event coordinator with some stoopid spectator questions that I had.

1. Can campers save spots next to them for friends - Yes

2. Is there cell phone reception? - In the camping area yes, next to the hill no.

3. What time does the event end on Sat. and Sun? - They start at 10am and go until there are no more bikes (5ish).........they have close to a hundred bikes..............with lots of Nitro Bikes

Me and my crew will be there around 10pm Friday night (gotta work Friday )

TT Dave, if you are getting there before us, please save us a spot big enough for a Suburban pulling a Toy Hauler

The guy I talked to said that this has gotten a lot bigger then what he thought it would...................this is gunna be great

Hey RR,

Who ever gets there first save a spot for the other guy. I'll be in my old motorhome(Winnebago Brave with faded cream color and faded blue graphics on it). I hope to get there by 8pm Friday night.

I'm looking forward to this!!! Hope the weather holds out!!
