A medium Deluxe fits very well on a R1100R with a Corbin seat. Wonderful product, sensibly priced. Well Done, Barb.

Got my butt pad today, looks great! Now if it would only stop raining so I could give it a properly evaluation...
BTW, 4 DAYS (business) from Alaska to Maryland. Can't ask for anything to ship faster than that from across the country!

Hey Barb, got my dual sport full saddle cover in today. Looks great and certainly makes a difference. I put it on a BMW X Challenge, the fit is great other than the rear strap isnt tight at all. But it doesnt look like an issue, just a head up. Thanks for the quick service, delivery, and a great product for the riding community.

You'll never beat the service from Alaska Leather.
A Corbin seat on a KLR, and my 'Stich always slid all over on the seat. Now it's perfect! The pad grips the Corbin seat cover great, and my suit doesn't slide on the pad, but lets me move when I want to. Much better!

Just took delivery of my 'pad'. Spent 6 hrs on it today on the FJR. The thing just plain works! Best 40$ I've spent in a long time, nice product.

Looking for a little comfort
Barb,
I'm trying to decide between the Gel pad and the Deluxe Dual Sport and I'm hoping you can help me with a couple questions. I will be using the pad on a KTM 525 and want something that will give me max tailbone padding. I'm looking for something that will help me through a 9 day off road adventure. What do you suggest that will best fit my bike? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. John |

On that bike for 9 days, I suggest you stand up a lot. The gel is too firm for me, I don't care for it. I'd use a dualsport buttpad and put a piece of foam under it. Thanks, Barb

Went ahead and placed an order for the dualsport, in mad cow of course. If you're going to put a sheep skin on a dirt bike it might as well be outrageous. Looking forward to giving it a try. ironmtnracing screwed with this post 05-11-2009 at 09:07 AM |

For touratech seat
Barb, I have a Touratech high seat (1" taller) on my R1100GS that is more like the Adventure seat in that it is not stepped for a passenger like the OEM two-piece. I was thinking the small deluxe in charcoal (to match the lighter tone of the two-toned seat) would work. This is because the seat is pretty narrow in the front and about 11" wide at the widest, however maybe the medium at 15" wide would do better by overlapping the sides some. Which do you think would work best? Not sure if you've had the Touratech request before. Should I order a nose strap? Lastly, is the discount still on? I started to order, but canceled when I didn't see the box for the "deadsheep." Also, thought I'd better get your advise on size first, discount or not. I've am going to try and attach a photo to give you some idea of what the seat looks like. I recently went on a 150 mile charity event with over 400 m/c riders (the vast majority HD guys) called the Run for the Border, from Wenatchee to Oroville, WA. (my hometown) and have to admit my backside was starting to feel the road because we had only one stop. Gary.
