Has anybody here been to the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton NP?
With or w/o the bike? I'm not a church-goer,,,, but I hope to attend a service there someday.

1886 Rock Church, Cranfills Gap. Tx. + my KLR
Cranfills Gap, Texas. 1886 Rock Church.
St. Olaf's Kirke, more commonly known as the "Old Rock Church", has a rich history as well as a promising future. It was built in 1886 by Norwegian settlers in the Cranfills Gap area. The alter pieces, that are famous through out the region, are hand carved and were shipped over from Norway. As the 20th century approached, more and more church members lived in Cranfills Gap and it soon became inconvenient to travel the 4 miles out of town to church. In 1917 St. Olaf's Lutheran Church was built in town and services were moved. In 1974 the church was awarded with a Texas State Historical Marker. The Rock Church is now used for special services and, most often, weddings. The church is open to visitors seven days a week from dawn to dusk

11th Century Chola Temple, South India
Taken during my recent trip early this month. This was my first stop for the day 100km away from home. The temple was built during the 11th century C.E. by Rajendra Chola (1012-1044) of Chola dynasty, with Gangaikonda Cholapuram as his capital city.

I was out riding today and I remembered this thread, so I took a little detour.
This is St. John's, I don't have any info on it, I'll have to look for a plaque or something next time I'm out there.
