Moose has always been a good company as far as I have seen so I wrote them an email expressing my view on there product, we'll see what they say?

Can't scratch the new rims so have to use the "stubby's" to mount up the tires.

First thing complete and ready to go!

On to the back wheel, had to cut/grind the spokes that stuck out to much.

Rear sprocket looked like doo doo, stripped and polished it up!

Back wheel is done!

Moose has got back to me on the spokes and we have traded multiple emails on the matter, not completley resolved yet but any company that follows up on a complaint and tries to rectify it is good for me.
It is never easy to get parts for vintage bikes, in 24 years you never know what was changed on a bike or if part #s have changed over time....part of the fun I guess...

Update!
Frame was impossible to make look good so it was dropped off to Kenny61 for a sandblast and prime(and maybe paint?) so I prepped and painted the motor. soon as the frame gets back it's time to assemble!

I am going to continue my bike rebuild in Old School 2 strokes and leave this for my race reports, makes sense?

Wednesday night we are going to a local indoor gocart track for some midwinter racing, I should have some helmet cam shots to share. Should be a blast.

We actually might, I'll let you know. It is at GPNY in Mount Kisco and I don't know if you have ever been but the carts are fast and the track is great. And there's adult beverages after!

Finally got the time and parts to put the BBR heavy springs in the #10 150

The fork springs look quite a bit heavier

Fresh oil,

Set the oil height,

Pulled the rear shock,

The spring is definatly heavier,(red one)

This one is done! ready to race...

#3 needs a chain and sprocket as well as an oil change and it's ready, middle of January and 2 bikes are ready? Never happened before

Got some mid winter racing in at GPNY in Mount Kisco NY, Not MX but took care of the racing itch! The carts are pretty fast and the track is great, nice elevation changes and a mix of corners and surfaces. I would recommend it to anyone within an hour or so to try it out, good time!!!!

Oh and the best part is there is a bar(and food) there so a nice cold one after racing tops the night off!

It's not as exciting as the Dakar but it's winter so theres not much riding going on, although it was 60 here yesterday still no riding for me. My friend in the mill shop cut out some pieces of plywood for me on the CNC machine for custom stackable stands for the mini's. Pretty cool.

He's gonna biscuit and glue em up for me than we'll do a custom paint to match the mini's, maybe some Lucas oil stickers....

Ok back to Dakar talk...
