Anyone getting out today? 70% chance of snow or rain tomorrow ( couldn't spell precipitation), so today might be the best day. The boss has given the green light.

First Attempt at GPS geekery

I spent way too much time trying to come up with a DIY solution but while I was working on awk/grep/perl scripts I thought I try this software. The sync is off because this was actually from two different days but I thought I would try.

Next time we go out I am going to try a different GPS solution to see if we cannot get the sync spot on.

Weather

What is the weather like in Bloomfield or Aztec? I am really jonesing for a ride and will probably end up riding despite the snow. If Aztec or Bloomfield look better I would head out there. Any weather reports out there?

its usually worse when you get out of town in that direction ,your best bet might be the wash in the Glade

Funny how you should mention self control. I lost self control three times today; 1) Opening my Valentines/Birthday/Father's day present early, 2) running around Pinion Mesa naked as a jaybird masturbating, and 3) going for a ride not given' a "fuck all" about the weather. Needless to say I caved to urges and went for a ride. Here are the fruits of the Valentines/Birthday/Father's day present combined with just being a weakass noob. Nothing spectacular just explaining how my scoots look so beat up.

I will teach you everything I know. Not much. The coolest thing is to upload stuff to dslmaps.com and google earth. Google earth just imports the track and draws it out.
